Connecting data centres in the Stockholm area with fibre is an important part of our business. Data centres have been a central part of the development of the fibre network since we were first established.
Our role in the market as a supplier of connectivity at the dark fibre level between positions in and around Stockholm makes us an important party in the infrastructure for the data centre industry. There are at least two completely diverse fibre routes to the existing data centres in our area. Data centres are playing a central role as hubs in the increasingly fast growing digital world.
Commercial, customer-specific or edge
Whether the data centre is customer-specific or a co-location facility, our fibre network enables thousands of customer connections. From fully diverse routes into the data centre, our cross-connected metro network reaches out to virtually all multi-dwelling properties and commercial properties in Stockholm, but also all the way to the street space. Today we offer products for connection directly from the data centre out to, for example, an edge solution, perhaps at a street intersection.
Data centres in our region have several thousand connected and leased fibre lines, and we are constantly increasing capacity according to market needs. Stockholm's fibre network is built for an increased establishment of data centres and we welcome a dialogue for future centres.
