Point to Point is the most flexible product in our offering and can be ordered within the City of Stockholm, but also in the surrounding municipalities and around lake Mälaren.
The Point to Point product is a fibre pair connected between two points (ODF's) of your choice. Point to Point lets you design your own network solution between two or more points. Like all our products, it's a dedicated fibre pair offered entirely for your needs and solutions.
The fibre pair(s) will be yours to use as if they were your own. The monthly fee is based on the shortest linear distance – as the crow flies – between the access points. The actual physical connection route is determined by Stokab to get the best route between the points you want to reach.
If the access points are already in our network, we connect in five days, known as express delivery.
If you want your own unique access point, we can install one, which includes 50 metres of inhouse cabling.
Stokab Point to Point is adapted for connections with high security requirements. Separate routes between specific Point to Point connections create the relationship required for to maintain agreed redundancy in the event of downtime and planned rerouting.
