Risk assessment and preventive work

Stokab has identified the risks of potential corruption that may arise in its business operations may give one party an advantage over another. To reduce the risk of this happening, regular training sessions on corruption issues are conducted. This may help identify new situations where there is a risk of corruption in the organisation. A risk assessment of these is carried out and integrated into the company’s internal control work.

Education and awareness

We conduct training sessions on anti-corruption issues for employees and consultants within the group. The purpose of the anti-corruption training is to reduce the risk of employees being exposed to external influence and to increase awareness of how to act if such situations arise. As part of the onboarding process for new employees and consultants, a web-based training course on business ethics and the whistleblower function is conducted.

Support in day-to-day work

To support and ensure that employees act appropriately in their interactions with partners, Stokab has an approval and delegation policy and a procurement policy. The approval and delegation policy sets out how the division of responsibilities, known as segregation of duties, is handled at Stokab.

Through training and governing documents, issues relating to bribery and corruption are kept up to date within the organisation.
